I am Pietro, an Associate Professor in Marketing and Education at the University of Manchester!
I am a Chartered Marketer (CMktr), a Member of CIM (MCIM), a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), specialising in Digital Marketing, Analytics, Branding, and Tourism with a PhD in Business and Management (Marketing and Branding focus).
My Story
Throughout my industry and academic career, I have delivered excellent experiences to customers and students, with roles centered around Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO, Digital Analytics, PPC, and Branding. I lead teams to achieve organizational goals and actively engage in project management, learning design, and stakeholder relationship management.
In my work outside academia, I have worked in various countries, honing my marketing skills and managing activities and teams to deliver excellence while respecting diversity. In my academic experience, I worked in world-class institutions, managing large programmes at different levels, designing content (including MBA courses), creating and delivering several modules, line managing colleagues, and leading initiatives to improve student experience, engagement, and retention.
My impact on institutions, colleagues, and students has been rewarded with awards and recognitions, making my career meaningful and fulfilling.
